Hi!  My name is Kelli Beard. I am the face behind Curriculum Connects. I love working with students to improve their literacy skills, whether they are developing readers, below grade level, have dyslexia or just want more proficient reading and spelling skills. I do this by following the Science of Reading and incorporating a multi-sensory learning experience to make reading and spelling "hands on".  The method is known as Orton-Gillingham. I am trained and certified in two OG programs called The Barton Reading and Spelling System and ConnectionsOGin3D. I also have a Masters Degree in Structured Literacy from The University of Central Arkansas (2021). I have worked as a Literacy Educator for 11 years and I still love seeing the excitement on my students faces when they learn to read!
